"I cant do it, I can't take another day of being beaten up" whimpered Shayne.

"Are you re-siting your GCSE's?"

"Well, yeah, with the grades I ot I cant do much else, but-"

"Then you've got to go in at some piont."

hayne was shaking "Can't we just skip today or something?"

"If we skip today, then you'll want to skip tomorrow to."

Shayne looked like he was about to burst into tars.

"Come on hun, be strong."

Shayne sobbed "I cantdo it" he whimpered "I was sik haalf of last night I wa so scared"

garth hugged him. "Shush. you can do it shayne, i know you can."

"I'm too scared, please, I'll coe in tomorro I promise"

"And then you'll say the same thing tomorrow."

Shayne whimpered "You ant make me go in"

Garth bent over and picked him up, slinging him over his shoulder. "Wanna bet?" he asked. "Now are you gonna walk in tehre yourself with soem dignity or am i going to have to carry you in there?"

Shayne sobbed "Put me down, Please Garth, dont make me do this"

"No dignity then" said Garth marching into teh school adn plonking him down inside

Shayne was still obbing like a little kid. He knew he was getting laughed at but was too hysterical to stop.

Garth hugged him till he calmed down

Shayne kept oing ut was uieter.

Eventually Shayne stopped.

"Pair o' queers" Josh alled across the clasrom, throwing a ruler at Shaynes head and hitting it straight on.

That started shayne off on a fresh bout of hysterical sobbing.

Garth picked up the ruler adn lobbed it back, hitting the guy on the forhead, so hard that it cute the skin

osh glaed at him, luckily the hit had been taken by one of his cronies.

Shayne sobbed uselessly "Why can't I go home?"

"Cos you have to stay in school to get qualifications for a job."

"I've already GOT a job"
