Mars took a lng drag on the ciggerate, the break from the battle giving him soem time to rest his thoughts, and give himself lung cancer. He stared at the desolate grund before him, sometuhing that hafdonce been a great city "Nice day for it"

Edge was sitting on the wall, flipping his pocket kinife in and out, back and forth. He stopped, looked up seeing Mars. " Smoking away the promblems? "

Mars flipped pen the battered packet and pulled one out. He passed it to Edge "I'm on my last few, doesn;t look like we'll get anther shipment for a while. Lines are completely dead in an out. Edge put the ciggerate in his mouth, and fiddled with his lighter. " Fucking wind " Eventually the flame lit and the ciggerate started to burn. He took a big puff and blew the smoke into the air.

Mars took another drag on his ciggerate, He stared out at the blood red skyfrom the sun setting beind the ruins.

"The suns going down, we better had get moving. Did you bring you board? I got some new trucks and I want to give lakeside hill a try. "

" Theres always is time to board, andyou have a point. We'll just walk, hopefully we'd find a place where we can camp for the night and atleast get a good drink around here "

"To far, lets just head back" said Mars, he hitched the rifle over his shoulder and headed off, his ciggerate hanging from his mouth.

" Wait up! " Edge stepped on his board and pushed off a number of times. He grinded the bench and landed in front of Mars. He stopped and stepped off the board. He tucked it under arm and smiled at Mars. " Isn't the barracks up at the North Pier? "

"It moved, god you're dumb" said Mars, trecking forward. Eventually he got back, he headed into the small ramshackle metal building. He dumped his gun vy the door.

" Sorry i forgot about they found our hide out " Edge slumped down onto the matress. He sighed.

Mars lifted his blanket to inspect the bed for bug before sitting down. He looked up when the door opened.
