Two fourteen year olds, brother and sister, have been thrown out into the world when there parents die suddenly in a flash flood. left with no one to care for them they cling to the only family they have left. each other. But there's a secret that there parents never got the chance to tell them about. The two kids stumble,e into the unknown world of the wolves, and learn about the rivalry of the black wolves and the whites. On the way they meet two people who help the small family learn about the ways of the wolves, and more importantly, the way to survive the rivalry.

Samantha tugged on her brothers sleeve sniffing. "We have to go Ty, we cant stay here. We cant go into that childrens home." said Sam

Tyler looked down noticing she was upset. He hugged her tight. " We'll make it. Don't you worry. "

Sam buried her face in his chest. "I cant believe there gone/."

Tyler rubbed Sam's head. He sat there in silence.

"Where will we go Ty? we dont look an day over the age we are."

" Up into the country side. It's the only safe place."

"But we dont know how to look after ourselves! we wont have any food, and teh last time you tried to make a campfire you burnt part of a church down!"

" We'll find away and hey! That was necessary, it was a big fish i was cooking! "

"I still think you did it on purpose." grumbled Sam

Tyler huffed. " Come on, lets get out of this rain. "

Sam made a face. "But i like the rain." she moaned and the looked surprised. she had always hated any water of any kind

" Your cold though. You'll catch a fever. " Tyler held her hand and started to walk.

"I dont feel cold. i feel really warm. adn teh cold things a myth and you know it."

Tyler stopped. He knew he could punish her since now he was the oldest. Although Sam wasn't scared of him. He pulled her arm harder and she moved. " We need to get out of this rain. We ca bring flowers tomorrow? "

"We need money for that and stop hurting me arsehole."

" We do. Dad put on his will £1000 between us. We must spend it wisely though. " Tyler looked at her. His eyes filled with tears.

Sam wiped his tears away. "Hey dont cry. they would have wanted us to be happy."

Tyler just looked at Sam. Eventually he said something. " Come on, lets go. "

Sam follwed him. "Where are we going?"

" Home. Were leaving in the morning. "

"But teh social workers will be there!"

" No they won't. They said there coming in the morning at 11. That's why were leaving at 4.00am. " Edge hugged Sam tightly.

Sam hugged TYLER back. "I'm scared Ty."
