Poisen leant away and smiled a watery smile. "Your nine, youdotn have to be tough as old boots. Just nice as new ones."

Morten smiled weakly.

Poisen sat down. "Honey, terhe going to do an operation now. The risks are high, but they doubt you will die. If we dotn have this operation, you may go blind."

Morten swallowed "Whats gonna happen if it goes wrong?"

"You...you may lose an eye, and it increases the risk of you getting a brain tumor." said Poisen gently

"I'd rather go blind then die of a brain tumour" said Morten.

"Morten, have the doctors told you about the fact taht your have epilipsy yet?"

"What?! No!"

"Well, you do. You cant go near flashing things or anything. When they xrayed you you went into a fit."

"Then d rather go blind" he said mitterly "i dont wanna live half a life because I can never do anything"

"Morten. You are having that operation. If you go blind you will have worse a life then now. You would have to be cared for 24/7. You would have limited jobs taht you could go into. You would have an even wose life then if you had had the operation."

"I'll have to have that anyway" said Morten "Im fucked if I do and fucked if I dont"

"But less fucked if you do have the operation." said Poisen kindly. She slipped an arm around her son and hugged him.

Morten dint look convinced

"trust me kid, okay?" said Poisen, smoothing down mortens hair.

"Okay Mom"

Poisen smiled and kissed him on the forhead. "You scared me to death. I had to be revived."

Morten blincked.

Poisen smiled.

Morten smiled.

Poisen looked up as teh doctor came in.

Morten whinced "See ya later mom" he muttered.

Poisen hugged him tight. "You be good. Whilst your having your operation i'm going to go see Sam, to see how she is. But i'll be back before teh en dof teh operation."

Morten noded.

Dante stroked Sams hair "I love you" he said quietly.

Poisen kissed his forhead and watched her son go into surgery. Then she left, headin for the Welsh house. She had to keep herself busy. She couldn't sit and worry, she woudl go mad.

Sam smiled up at him. "I love you more."
