Harriet rang the doorbell.

Rosemary stood up tiredly and wiped her eyes. She looked in the mirror before walking over to teh door and opening it

Harriet looked up, she had very short bron hair and green eyes "Hello Mrs. Welsh" she mumbled "I'm harriet, but I go by Herrick"

"Hey. And my names Rosemary, not Mrs. Welsh." She smiled at teh child. "Come on in. We're a weird bunch but i'm sure you'll catch up. People seem to just appear at this house" she smiled and gestured for teh child to go in the house

Herrick stepped in and smiled slightly, She had a rucksack on one shoulder but that was it for luggage.

Raosemary shut the door and smiled at the girl. "Okay, so thats the living room, thats the dining room and the door up there is to the kitchen. " she said gesturing before heading up the stairs. "Thats Helena's bedroom, my daughter. She must be about your age. Thats Gerards bedroom, he's my son. Right now his girlfriends sleeping in there. She's a runaway, didnt have any where else to go, so she's staying here whislt he's away." she said, before skipping a door. "Thats my bedroom, teh bathroom, and that will be your bedroom."

"What's in that room?" inquired Herrick, pointing to the door Rosemary had skipped.

Rosemary winced. "That is...WAS my other sons bedroom. He passed away a month back." whispered Rosemary

"Oh" said Herrick "I'm sorry, I lost my brother about the same time"

Rosemary closed her eyes for a second before opening them and going into the bedroom Harrick would have

"What happened to him?" asked herrick gently, putting ehr cuksack on the bed.

"Cancer." whispered Rosemary, a single tear falling

Herrick gave her sholder a squeeze "I'm sorry" she mumbled

Rosemary wiped her cheek and smiled a very fake smile. "Its fine. You okay to get settled?"

"I'll be fine" promised Herrick "Thanks fo taking me in"

"Well, i found out about five seconds before you arrived, so i didnt really ahve a chioce. But it'll be nice to have a good kid round here. Speaking of kids..." she said looking through teh open door as Charllotte appeared through teh open door.

Charlie looked up blearly. "Is it just me or do people appear randomly regularly in this house?"

Herrick smiled "Herrick" she introduced

"Charlie." nodded Charlie looking at her. She smirked. "Ever got a C on a paper?"

"Straight As" aid Herrick "Why?"

Charlie smirked. "Thought so. I stopped school before high school and i was a prostitute who lived on the street since i was really young. Nice to meet ya."

"I as in a private nurery until i was five, Went to a private military schiool until I was thirteen and got chucked out for drinking and graffiting. Nice to meet you too"

Charlie looked her up and down before smiling slightly. "I may learn to liek you yet."

Rosemary facepalmed. "please dont be liek her." she muttered before leaving down the stairs

Herrick grinned and rn her hand through her short hair. She shoved herclothes into her drawers and placed two rolled up posters on the bed.

Charlie came in. "Whats in teh posters?"

"Three Days Grace and the theatrical poster for Vampires suck" said Herrick distractedly "There should be my, AHA!" He said, pulling out a smaller thrid poster "Being human"
