Josh blinked back tears and hung up, he shoved the phone in his pocket "I need to go" he mumbled

Charlie waved.

Josh walked hoe mopily. He opened the door of the crappy little third floor flat and looked around nervously "M-Mom? D-D-Dad?"

"Whadda you want?" said his dad drunkinly

Josh looked down "I need a pounf for non uniform tomorrow"

"you need a WHAT?! we give and we give and we give, and all we ever get if i want this and i want taht!

Josh flinched "Please dad" he pleaded.

"greedy theiveing little bastard!"

"I'm not!" protested Josh "You don't even feed me, I have to do EVERYTHING for myself."

"Answering back now are we! Huh!" The man raised his ahdn to strike Josh but wobled and fell over, passing out from teh drink

Josh didn' puase to help, just left both his parents passed out in the living room, went into his room, changed into jeans and a T-shirt and cried.

Charlie looked at teh boy. "I'd get home if i were you."

James looked kinda cncerened about Josh but nodded "Yeah, i'll ave a lonely day tomorro"

Charlie shook her head. "nah. Even teh loser's have friends. They just mean more. For instance i#m sure you love what ever chavvy musics out right now, and ver half your school probably listens to that. And i'll make sure i mention you to Gerard, so you wont be completely alone. Dunno how he'd react tho."

"Actually, Avenged Sevenfold are my faivorite band" mumbled James "I only listen to popular music to fit in"

"James, Jamie, what ever that cunt calle dyou, There are thousands of people in this world. You have to fit in with at least one of them. And you have met them. Shayne? he listens to that sorta music. MY boyfriend does. I do, now i can nick he's CD'S cos i never have money to buy them.Mikey does, there are loads of people like that. You just have to get used to being called an Emo and mosher or a goth. But to be honest?Its not really an insult."

"I'm not hanging round with SHAYNE" spat James immediatly.

"Why not?" said Charlie putting a hand on her hip and raising her eyebrow

James whinced and looked down "I CAN'T hang around Shayne though"
