"Hey mo-Rosemary" said Kevin.

Rosemary flinched. "Whats wrong with the computer? if you keep up taht face it'll stay liek taht, adn taht would be a shame."

"Nothing, just..." he trailed oof and sighed "Theres no record, no irth certifcate, no hopital check in, no midwifes records, no school reports, nothing that ciuld link me to either of my parents. You were really thourough. I thought-you know- maybe there was some way I was pyiccly linked..."

"Oh hun." she came over na dhugged him. "You are my son. i have your birth cirtificate, and i have all your records. stashed away in the attic where raven refuses to go cos he doesnt liek bats.."

"Look at me though, I don't have a family tree because none of tem will admit I'm related to them. I'm jus a dot on the map, the acorn that didnt grow, the leaf that fell..."

"I cant loose Raven Kevin. he's my true love, and i love him so much it hurts. and he's ill, and he needs some one to look after him. if he knew i had cheated on him i honestly think he would kill me."

"But it's killing ME" said Kevin "I've never fitted in anywhere, I thought, maybe when I found my real parents that maybe I'd...Maybe I'd have a family"

"You are part of my family Kevin. All these teen agers arent my kids but they feel like family now. i'll always be your mother, but...raven can NEVER know."

Kevin put his head in his hands.

"I'm sorry"

Kevins shoulders shook, despite his attempts to hide it he was obviously crying.

Rosemary hugged, making soothing noises

Kevin puhed her away

Rosemary looked at him hurt but understanding in her eyes. "Sorry."

"dont be, I'll leve in the morning"

"NO!"

Kevin looked at her "Whynot? 've been moving for months trying to find you, I'll jsut start moving to find a home now"

"I lost two of my sons. then i ofund them both on teh same day. i cant loose them again."

"You ill have Jaden, You'll have the miracle, let go fo the one you cant, wont, have"

Rosemary was crying. she bit her lip. she took kevins hand and led him out of teh room, down teh hall an dinto where raven was in bed

Raven lookedup "Whats rwrong Rose?"

"I hav something to tell you."

"EWhat is it?" asked raven concerned.

"You know that period of time when i got really depressed? when i was still in the army?"
