Rand L looked at them "I broutght him"

"Hello Raven." said kathrin in a pleasent vioce. "A little bird tell me your not doing what i told you to do, oh, and what else?" said Kathrin. siuddenly her vioce went from sweet to rock hard. "Your running away."

Pouisen glanced at her son and slowly calmed down. "Your right, sorry sam." she said breathing in deeply.

Sam had dodged teh ornaments and varios objects being thrown at her but a vase had managed to hit her leg and but her, and a particularly big bible hit her on the head. She touched her head and gulped when she smelt the bloody. "Oh shi-shoot." she said, leaning against teh doorway and sliding to teh floor. "Oh double shoot." she muttered when she saw her leg.

Morten Went over and Looked at the wound "Nasty But not particyuulary deep" he told her.

Raven gulped "I-I'm not running away!"

Kathrin raised an eyebrow at him. "The army? seriosly? i thought you were more inventive." said Kathrin idly.

Sam smiled weakly. "Its teh blood i'm worried about. You know, its probably one of teh hardest things to be, a vegearian wolf." she muttered.

Morten smiled slightly.

Raven bristled slightly "I want to do something elsenwith my life" he said "I'm not gonna be thorns doormat anymore"

Thorn growled.

"Ever thought your place in society wad to be thorns doormat? you are upsetting the balance, and taht mean upsetting me."

Sam stood up shakily and looked around, annpoyed because dante didn't sem to care taht she was bleeding and hurt. Just more proof about teh fact that he cares more about mizu then her, and that she was just a substitute. She left the room and wet down stairs, and stood looking at teh broken down front door.

Dante Just started picking the books and broken shit off the floor.

Raven growled "I'm better than that"

Kathrin switched to a dull vioce, what she did when ever she was talking for fear. "You don;t even have a second release"

Sam felt tears prick and run down her face.

"Come here and tell me all about it dear." said Poisen patting the place beside her.

Raven groled and shook slightly "That doesnt mean I have to be someone I don't want to be"

Morten Sat Down Next to her And started to explain.

Poisen listened and at teh end she stared at her son. "This is all about soem girl?! You risked your life for soem girl? Thats the most stupid th8ing i ever heard! I bet most people wouldn't even do that for there chosens." she said shocked.

Sam wiped away each tear as they came. She had a piece of tissue pushed to her fiorhead.

Randal Listened for Kathrins response.

Morten grimaced "Yeah well..."

Kathrin struggled to calm her self so she didn't change to her second release. Whe she had calmed down enough she spoke. "It does if i want you to be."

Sam rolled up her jeans, looking at the nasty gash o her leg.

"Yeah well what?" asked Poisen curiosly.

Morten just shrugged.

Dante came downstairs and stoid behind her, eyes on her back.


Ravens eyes narrowed "You can't copntrol me" he spat.

Poisen rolled her eyues. "Is that her?" she asked nodding in teh direction of teh sleeping child.

sam felt his presence behind her but ignored it, waiting for him to talk first.

"I can make a pretty goood damn try though." said Kathrin, her eyes flashing.

He shook angrily and braced himself.

Dante crossed his arms "You're not a substitute"

Sam wiped away a tear angrely and turned to look at huim. "How should i know? All i know is the only reason you ever approached me was becaus ei reminded you of her. Same blonde hair, same eyes." she hissed at him, irritation hurt andrejection colouring ehr tone.

Kathrin smiled a sickly sweet smike. "But not yet. I want to see whether you change you mind. If yuo do, then you'll carry on working for Thorn andwill carry on unscarred. But if you choose against us, then, sorry but i cant be repsonible fo rmy actions."

Raven acctually Laughed "Unscarred?" he Laughed "Thats a laugh"

Dante looked at her, His expression unchanging "only at first. I couldn''t help my curiosity. But it's more than that Sam"

Sam laughed slighgtly. "yeah for me." she said, looking out the window." i heard you Dante. You loved Mizu in such a way you cant even let her go now. You said it yourself."

"Yes, unscareed."

Dante stepped forward, To stand beside her "The words of a non believer" he said soimply "To the ears of the broken,the beaten and the Damned". He looked down at Sam and extended a hand "Let me show you something"

Raven looked at her sneeringly "You disgust me" he spat at them "Both of yiou! You rule by fear!"

"Well, that is his name." said Kathrin with a small smile.

Sam ignored Dantes hand and stood up, wiping away another stray tear.

Raven snarled "I meant you need people to be afraid of you both, Well forget it! I'm not scared of either of you"

Kathrin raised hereyebrow. "Thorn, Randal, have fun." she said turning to leave.

"Lead teh way." said sam looking away from dante.

Thorn smirked

Raven trembled "Wait!" he yelped.

Dante nodded and started off.

Kathrin half turned towards Raven. "Yes?" she said in that sickly sweet vioce of hers.

Sam followed, never looking directly at dante, though never looking away.

"That's uncalled for"

Dante Took her to a forest clearing, but it was grey and ash filled, With dust falling through the light giing it an eerie look.
