Danger leant back with a sigh, not noticing that it was cold because of her body heat. The snow around her began to melt.

Deryk folded up the Not into a paper plabne and threw it backwards so it landed on top of her. It simply read Sorry, I was a jerk

Danger sat up and opened the note. She turned and galred at him before ripping teh note into little peices and putting tehm all on her palm, before blowing them.

Cam ddnt looked back Just stared out at the lake.

Danger laid back again, hating that she had done it but feeling like she had done right. She covered her face with her hair till she couldn't see.

Cam Stood up, He walked over to aTree and scaled it. He brushed a branch off and sat down. Avoiding getting wet.

Danger sat up quickly when sh eheard something fall. She saw soem snow that look like it had fallen from the trees quite near her. She looked up trying to se what had made teh disturbnce and spotted Cam.

Cam watched The scene "Reminds me of home" he said absently, So that it was impossible whether he was talking to Danger or himself

Danger turned in his direction fully and crossed her legs, looking up at him.

Cam didnt glance down "Snowed like this nearly every winter" he renminesced "ROof leaked like hell when the thaw began"

danger looke at him with curios eyes, wondering why he was telling her this.

He chuckled slightly "i remember I used to wake up soaked ever morning, Going to school we always Smelt like a gutter. I hope they got that foixed"

"Why are you telling me this?2 asked Danger, noy liking teh way gravity was pulling her hair away from her fa\ce. She felt exsposd.

Cam glanced downa and shrugged "I was getting somewhere" he said "But I suppose I should skip, hing is I know I acted like a jerk last night. But That was teh angryest I;ve ever let myself get. I haven't cried, yelled, Or let myself get hopeful since I was 5. What you made me feel last night shook me up"

"I made you nagrey?" asked danger bewildered.

"Eh, i think its cuzz I was alreayd p*ssed a Deryck, But the point stands"

(Setting off now)

Danger nodded. "hey, will you tell your friend Gean to fuck off? he nearly raped me last nighht." she shivered at teh memory before standing up.

"He isnt my friend" said Cam "He's a worse jerk off tahn Deryck, and thats saying somerthing"

"Well, tell him anyway." said danger. she looked up, studieing the branch that Cam was sat on, about 12 feet away. She looked around to make sure no one was looking, before she crouched and sprang upwards, grabbng hold of the end of teh branch. Before the branch could snap under her weight, she twisted her self round and swung onto the branch, landing in the stance of a predertor. She looked around t make sure it was safe before wiping the branch and sitting down.

Cam didnt heven blink, he was obviosuly use to wolves being agile.

Danger looked around, for the first time looking at teh snow. "Your right, it is pretty isn't it?"

He nodded "We get this every winter, It's kinda nice having a white christmas. But the novelty wears off when you actually want to go and do something" he smiled, he glanced over and a couple of younger kids who were stepping nervously onto the lake "THe ice is thinner than it looks!" he called acorss.

the kids just laughed and carried on going further in. ventually they were in teh middle of the lake, where one very stupidly decided jumping was a good idea. the ice cracked and some of teh kids toppled in.

Danger jumped from teh tree and started to run across teh ice, her feet barly touching teh ice. She skidded to a halt a foot from teh kids and laid on her belly, pulling her self nearer teh kids. Eventually she got next to teh hole. She reached out for the kids who got out with her help. "Is there any more of you down tehre?" she asked on of them.
