"Bye hon."

Gerard grabbed his Bike and cycled to school. He chained it up in the bike shed and headed into the hosue area.

Danny came over and smiled at Gered. "Hey. Whats up?"

"Hey, Not much" said Gerard, Sitting on a Table "Did we have Maths homework for today?"

"And English and science." she said, taking them out and handing them to Gerard. "Copy in tutor."

Gerard smiled "Thanks Dannay" he said "Look, I, Um, Was wondeirng if you'd, um like to,er, Go to the cinema with me sometime?"

Danny looked up and blinked. "£Dont you have like 50 girls following you around wanting to go cinema with you? Ones that will 'put out' as you guys call it."

Gerard shrugged "I suppose, But I,um, Kinda like you..."

Danny blinked." er...okay."

Gerard smiled "Thanks Dannay"

Danny smiled and set off for Tutor.

Gerard went to tutor. He couldnt help but feel weird about the empty seat next to him Where Jaden used to sit.

Danny sat infront of Gerard staring out the window, a far off look on her face.

"Here sir" said Gerard, when his name was called out. He whinced when he heard Jadens name called out next, The sound brining back all the emotions he thought he'd finally mastered.

Danny stiffened and leant her head on folded arms, hiding her self from view.

FInally,The bell rang for first period. Standing up and sweeping out ofhis seat Gerard was out of the classroom before barely anyone else had stood up.

Danny went out of teh room soon after Gerard had. She swept past him, her head forward so her striaght brown hair fell and hid her face.

Gerard headed down to science, but midway suddenly felt like he could go any further. He sgtepepd into a corridor where there was building work going on (Halted because of bad weather) And lit a ciggerate to calm himself down. Not counting on the fact they'd already installed smoke alwarms.

Danny walked past and spotted him. She took the cigeretta out of his hands and stepped on it. "Smoke alarms." she said simply before turning and walking away. She didn't once look at him, hiding her face. Her vioce wasn't the most steady

Gerard glared after her and lit another one still needing to calm down. This time the Alarms did go off, nearly deafening gerard in the process. He dropped the ciggerate, still lit, to the floor, Not noticing it hit one of the walls of rolepaper.

Danny scowled as the smoke alarm went off. She span around and headed back to were Gerard had been. She didn't see him any where. She went further into teh building owrk, looking for him. Eventually, she gave up and headed back. She turned a corner and gasped as a wave of heat and light hit her. She stumbled back, ducking to teh floor instinctivly to get away from teh smoke lining the ceiling.

"Welsh" Called The teacher, Looking at the assemble class.

"Here miss" said Gerard

The teacher sigehd and went to the group of teachers, And ina a low voice which Gerard could only pick up with his wolfs hearing, Said "We're missing Danial Stevens"

"Danny" Gasped Gerard, He raced off before anyone could stop hom and found his way through the building, Much of which was on fire by now "DANNY!"

Danny had climed up teh building site to get away from the fire. her hands were burned severly from where the metakl had heated up, and teh smoke was getting to her head.

Gerard reached the bootom, Scorching his skin but not caring "DANNY!"

Dannys gaze was unfocused. "Gerard!" she called weakly. she looked for him, but her gaze was unfocused. She rached out for what she thought was Gerard, but her grip slipped and she fell forward towards the flames where half an hour ago Gerard was sitting smoking
