Tunny went upstairs, locked his door then curled on his bed an sobbed, not noticing the time hit ix.

Christmas came and smiled at her mum. "Bye mum."

"bye sweetie. WIll you be home tonight?"

"no mum, i'm going out to pray again. As it nears Christmas i find teh need more and more."

"Tahts my girl." smiled her mum. She kissed Christmas on teh cheek and left.

Christmas sighed and went up to Tunnys room. "Tunny?" asked Christmas outside teh door, feeling uncomfortab;e in teh weiord nun roby thing

Tunny went over and unlocked the door, his face was tearstained and his eyes red.

"Tunny whats wrong? Hey shush." she closed teh door behind her and pulled him into a hug

"I failed you Chri"

"Hey no...you could never do that."

"I promied no more violence"

Christmas pulled away to look at him. "What did you do?" whispered Christma, her eyes wide as she stared into Tunnys eyes

"I hit mom" said Tunny looking at the ground.

Christmas stepped back shaking her head

Tunny started crying again.

"W-why?" whispered Christmas

"She was aying horrible stuff...How I'd feel if you wee seriously hurt...Or died..."

"So why'd you strike her?" Christmas nearly shouted

"She wouldn't top..."

"So? there just words!" shouted Christmas, tears coming down her cheeks

"They didn't seem like words!"

"but they were! they're meaningless words! of things taht wont happen for years yet!" Christmas slid to teh floor sobbing. "you promised me.."she whispered. she felt liek he was a hundred miles away.

Tunny sank onto the bed and put his head in his hands.

"You promised me Tunny..."

Tunny didnt speak.

Christmas suddenly got up and went down stairs. She went and check on Hathen, to seee how she was. "Hathen? Are..Are you okay?"

Hathen smiled. "I'm fie. Not even a bruise." smiled Hathen to her kindly. "Dont be to hard on him will you? He does love you, very much. He just couldnt take teh words i was saying. They hurt him too much."

Tristan came through "Can I have a drink?" he mumbled, not noicing Cristmas.
