SHayne wiped his face then urst intotears again.

"hey!" said Mikey. He pulled shayne into a hug. "Hey mate whats wrong?"

""She-She made me leave him." sobbe Shayne

"Who made you leave ray? adn why?" said Mikey looking at shayne. He was quite good at this comforting lark for a guy

"Charlie..And-And..." he started sobing again, unable to get teh words out.

"Charlie?!" mieky nearly shouted. "But she wouldnt!.....would she? she oculdnt of. its charlie for gods sake." said mikey shocked and confused

"he beat me" shayne Finally managed queitly, ignoring Mikeys rambling.

"CHARLIE HIT YOU?!"

"No, Ray did, that's why she made me leave" said Shayne quietly, tears rolling down his face.

"oh. WHoa. Ray hit you? i'm so so so sorry."

"He lved me, it was ny fault, it had to be, Ray wouldn;t do that to me otherwise..."

"Its not your fault. No one deserves to be treated like a lower being or hurt in any way. Ever, in any cercumstance"

"It was only a fw bruises, I could handle it, I love him..."

"I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but ray doesnt love you. least not teh new one. if he had loved you he would have never done that."

Shayne sobbed into his hands "I don;t want to live without him"

"Hey." said mikey hugging him as he cried. he looked over at lily, confused by her staring

Lilly looked down, she wanted o cmfort him but she couldn't help but remember how contrlling he'd been when she was at her most vunerable.

Shayne sobbed "He-He has t love me, he saidhe did"

Shayne sobbed uselessly into his hands, his heart seeming to shatter.

"You'll find someone else" Lilly tried to comfort him

"I don;t WANT anyone else, I want Ray"

"The persn back there isnt ray shayne! its a guy. a guy who's just begun life. he doesnt know anything, he's a completely different person."

"But the person I kno's still in there somewhere, he has to be!"

"He is shayne. and when taht guy wakes up, he'll come adn find you."

"But I can't be away from him even when he's nto completely there, It'll kill me Mikey"

"You cant help Ray come back. You have to draw him out. You have to leave ray to find teh way himself."

"I can;t, The only reason I bothered waking up in the morning was I knew I'd see him that day, that even if he smacked me around a bit he 'd sill behere when I got back from school, that he' still kiss me and at least act like he loved me, now what have I got Mikes? The very unlikely possibility that Ray'll ome and find me?"
