At that oment SHayne passed where they were sanding with his head down.

"Now i wish i had made a bet with you said charlie hopping down. "OI! shayney boy."

Shayne swallowed "Hey Charlie"

"And where might you be going?"

"H-Home"

"Wrong direction."

"No, homes here" mumbled SHayne "W-With Ray"

"Funny that, cos i remember you leaving him an hour ago." said charle leaning gainst a wall. she had this weird way of making you feel wuilty when ever she wanted to.

"I shuldn;t of done it, I'm gonna plead to come home" said Shayne.

"Wasnt he the one that hit you?"

"I need him" said Shayne, heaing up the stairs

Charlie stopped him. "And he needs to learn some fucking manners. its not ray, shayne. you need ray, and the man who looks liek him isnt him. if it was he would have followed you out of teh door, begged you to come back. no, instead he waited till you went before making a shoppping list and going grocery shopping."

"He was crying, he wanted me to stay" said Shayne "I'm going back"

"No your not. He hit you, he hurt you, he's in teh wrong. if he wants you back he can come and find you."

"I left him, I hurt him" said Shayne and came up to the door,. he pulled the key off the strin on his neck and unlcked the dr "R-Ray?"

Charlie sighed infrustration, and pulled shayne back, blocking teh door so he couldnt get in and closing it. "NO! i wont let you throw your life away!"

Shayne whimpered "Please Charlie, please let me o back to him"

"Shayne no. it'll just hurt twice as much when he leaves, to go to prison for hurting you or something else."

"He wouldn;t, I wouldnt let them, And if he does I'll visit him EVERY day. I haveto go back Charlie"

"NO you dont. you ant go back, i wont let you for one. and for another, when you get in there you'll still feel this way. you searching for the real ray, not the one in there."

"The ne in there'll do" said Shayne, a strange detirminatin in his eyes, he shoved CHarlie out f the ay,stepped inside then shut the door and held it close.

Charlie kicked teh door, hard. "Shayne!"

Shayne lcked the door andswitched on the light "Ray?"

Charlie walked down the stairs defeated. she walked out of teh apartment building adn began to walk down teh road
