Charlie smiled back adn sat down.

*at 1 in the morning*

Jo stagered down teh street. 165 167 169 171... she was sure she had lost count. she gave up, adn collapsed on the lawn of a house, the rain pouring down on her.

*next morning*

Charlie went down teh path for teh mail and gasped. "FRANK!"

Frank groaned and sat uo, he'd been sleeping in the porch incase Jo had knocked during the night, his unflinching sense of optimism pushing through. He suffled through the front door and bumped into Charlie, that was when he spoted Jo on the lawn. he managed to sandn and ran over "Jp"

Jo was lieing face down. she was freezing to touch, adn her skin had a blue tinge. her clothes were soaked through

Charlie stared at teh girl on teh ground in shock

Frank looked u;p "What do I do?!"

"get her inside, she's freezing." said charlie.

Frank did hi best t pick her up, being smaller than Jo it was hard.

Charlie was too frozen in shock to help.

Helena came out teh door. SHe bit back tears when she relised that it was teh girl frank loved that he was holding, adn went over and helped him get her inside.

Frank lay Jo on the sofa and stroked her cheek "Jpo, Jo hun wake up"

Jo's eyes stayed closed.

Helena felt for a pulse. "she's alive, but only just."

"frankie...."jo had woken up but kept her eyes closed, beinging to cry and curling up

Frank hugged her "Shh, it's ok"

JO pushed him away and scrambled away. "Not again. pelase...."she whimpered. "Please harry please not again..."

"Jo, it's me, Frank"

Jo opened her eyes wide and stared at him, her dark green eyes staring at him. "Frank?" she whispered

"I'm here" she whispered.

Jo began to cry. "Frank...my frankie..."

Helena winced at her words

"Shh, Im here"

Jo wrapped her arms roun him and hugged him tightly, still crying. "frankie.....my frankiie."

Helena stood up and left. she stood in teh hallway tears dripping down her face, ignoring when gerard came down the stairs

Gerard hugged hikm "You Ok?"

"Had to get out of the love scene."sniffed helena

Gerard sighed "Look, he'll work out what he want eventually, and if he chooses her yo deerve o much better sis"

"I dont get to choose though do i? i dotn GET to choose. you think this is just a crush? i couldnt be near him yesterday cos i could feel what was going on, everyting he felt, adn it was killing me to teh piont where i couldnt be near him. adn it still wouldnt go away." said helena, begining to cry

Gerard hugegd her properly "then he wont ave any choice either Hel, he'll never be hapy with another peron apart from you"

Helena pulled him to teh door way and showed him teh scene on teh couch. frank and jo were holding each other tightly, jo staring up at frank and frank looking at her lovingly

Gerard hugged him.

Helena wi[ped her eyes. "I better get a heater."
