Sam curled tighter into a ball, digging her nails in and pressing her head aginst her knees, as if trtying to hurt herself.

Dante Held her head away from her nknees.

Sam squezzed her eyes shut tighter, rfusing to look at Dante, digging her nails in so little cuts werer appearing and bleeding.

Dante pulled her hands away" Dont" he said firmly. Memories of his own self inflicted wounds were darting into his head.

"I deserve pain, and a hell of alot of it." she sam, trying to get her hands free.

"Noy ou dont" said Dante

Yes i do, yes i do." sad Sam, finding it very diffficult to cause herself pain with out her hands. She dug her heels in and scrapped her legs on teh rocks.

Dnate growled "STOP!"

Sam shook her head, finding she could hurt her self by banging her head obn the floor, proceded to do so.

Dante growled and turned away.

|Sam, because she now had her hands free, started to dig her nails in again.

Eventually Sam was so tired form her emotional and phisical strees that day taht she fell asleep. her hands relaxed and she stopped hurting ehr self, though she carried on bleeding.

Yosana walked into the clearoing. "Hey Dante Hey-OH DEAR GOD!"

Dante looked up wearily "I couldnt stop her"

Yosana dropped to her knees next to the young girl, taht was now covered in blood. Images flashed tthrough her mind. "i could never stop you ether. If i tried, you ripped my head of." said Yosana seriosly. She gently lifted Sam up holding the girl to her chest. She looked down her legs and arms and head. She gasped when she saw the girls legs. "What did yshe do!?"

"Banging her head, Scratching her legs on the floor, Digging her nails in" he said almost lifelessly..

"We need to get her back to the house befor she bleeds out. Come on." she said going to the edge of teh clearing, she stopped when Dante didn't follow. "Whats wrong?" she asked, looking at is face for teh first time.

"I feel so useless" he said quietly "I hate this feeling, It's the same way I felt after our parents died, And when We found out about What Kaien ahd been doing to Poison"

Yosana made a pained face. "Yor not helpless this time. You can help her through this, you've alreday been through it once." said Yosana.

"And she dragged me out of it, What if I can;t do the same for her?"

"You will be able to. And teh furst step i think is getting ehr clean so she's alive for yout o try dont you agree?" said Yosana. "She's bleeding to death her, literaly, and your saying your not able to help? why dont you lead teh way?"

Dante stood up and just started off.

Yosana folowd. "remind me to thank her for teh door by the way." grumbled Yosana when tehy were stepping ove rteh splinters. She walked into teh houseand laid sam on teh sofa.

Dante stood next to the living room doorway.

Morten came down with a yanw"hey peeps" he yawned

Dante blinked "What are you-"

"moms asleep but she told me not to go back to dads" shrugged Morten

"I'd tell you the same thinG" muttered Dante,turning away.

Yosana waved a hand infront of Dantes face. "Hello! Your chosens bleeding to death her, go get my med kit from under teh stairs."
