Morten chuckled "Not particulary"he said "Ting is, Neither of my parents have much money so I've got no chance. Mom and Mike, thats her boyfriend, Are still on the move alot cause of his work. hence why I'mngonna be spending alot of time in this dump" he gestured round at the pealing 70's plaster, The filthy steps (with marks he'd rather not think about on them) and the fact that parts of the ceilingw ire a greenish colour "No offence."

"No offence taken. I dont live here." said Kay with a laugh.

Morten blinked "Oh? So why would you CHOOSE to hang out here?"

"I live next door. You know teh big manor house? with teh huge trees and that looks like heaven? I go over hear because my grandma doesn't know, she thinks i'm in the gardens. I have a friend here taht will keep some of my lothes so i can change."

"Wow" said Morten "Lucky perso- Well,acctually, By the sound of your grandma, Not so lucky. But seriously, Here? you couldnt go down to the park or something? Acctually, I bet your minted. You could go anywhere."

Kay froze at that. " no i'm not minted as you say." she said stiffly.

Orten noticed the change in tone "Hey, QWhats up?" he said "I was only saying..." he looked tound "Oh! HAve you got a bottle of coke or somethoing? Th plumbing in our flat doesnt work and I'm parched"

"One minute." said Kay before walking to teh nearst door and going inside. She picked up a bag that was in the hallway and came and sat by Morten. She pulled out a frilly dress before rooting thew bottom. She handed him a coke and a vbar of chocolate. "I have a psare one."

"Thanks" smiled Morten slightly, He looked at his watch and sighed "I ebtetr get home, Staynin touch yeah?"

Kay smiled slightly. "You knwo wehere i live." she said, packing her stuff back in her bag.

Morten smiled slightly andheaded up the stairs He Got tohis door and put the key in the lock, he turned it and...It snapped "FUCK" he snarled loudly "With the day I'm having" he muttered, Slumping against the wall.

Kay giggled when she heard Marten say this. She walked up teh stairs. "Having trouble?"

Morten no0dded "The key snapped in the lock" he said "I'm not showing off I'm just really irritated"

"Why would you be showing off?" asked Kay, taking teh broken bits of key off him. She put teh end in teh lock then kicked teh door, then shoved teh otehr end of teh key in teh door and twisted. And teh door ipened. "Now, if you did that, then yo would be showing oof." she said with a grin.

Morten grinned "True!" he said, He stood up "Ugh, Dads gonna give me hell for this" he said "I better tidy up, You might anna go home cuz I';'m pretty sure you don't wanna help"

Kay ignored hima nd walked into the falt. "Jeesus." she said looking around. "YOU did all this?"

Morten shook his head "Only Bits of it, But I''m the one who gets lumvbered with tidying it"

kay grinned and dumped her stuff in a corner. "I have maids." she said. "My bedroom would be worse then this other wise."

Morten smiled slightly, He tried to flick on a lightswitch since the only light was coming through a single window, then cursed when nothing happens "Sorry, I better go put some money in the meter doewnstairs...Thats iof we have any this time"

kay smiled. "go ahead. " she said. When Morten had left tehr oom, she began to cklean.

Morten cam eup about five minutes later "We've only got about 1o minutes of electric"he said, Flicking on the light. It was dim and cracked but it made some improvement.

Kay began to clear teh floor, stacking thins on chairs. "Where's your vaccum?" she asked.

"We don't have one" said Morten.

"You joking?" she said with aroll of her eyes. "Carry on clearing ethfloor." she said before going out teh room and goiung down stairs, borrowing her freinds hoover.

Morten carried on clearing.
