Morten smiled sligtly and picked the bags up "That sounds like Dad"

"Yo be careful now." said teh shop asictant, watching teh boyu walk out the shop.

Morten Took teh stuff home, He udmped it in the hallway "I'm back!"

kay went out teh bathroom, where she had made stunning progress with teh floor. "hello honey." she said mockingly. "What did you get me?" she asked.

Morten chucked her a chocolate bar "Repayment" he teased. He Looked around "Well, It looks betetr already"

kay shook her head in disbelife. "And i though you were going to ge5t me a horse and cariga!" she said before shaking her finger at him in mock anger

"Oh I'm sorry milady" he saidmgiving a mock bow "A poor commoner like me HAs nowhere near enough for a fine lady like you-"

kay grinned and curtised perfectly, then in a proper posh vioce. "i should not have e4xpected so much from such a pauper. Silly me. ah well, back to work." she said, shooing him.

Morten grinned "As you wish" he saidm, Starting on the Kitchen, He Opened a cuboard and yelped.

Kay, who had gone back to teh bathroom floor, stood up and ran into teh kitchen. "what?!"

"Rat" grimaced Morten,Picking it up "just gave me a shock."

Kay grinned and took teh rat from him, stroking it. "Whoa, its sure if heavey." she said, taking it int teh otehr room.

"I used to have a pet rat" mused Morten "Then it escaped and mom wouldnt let me have anymore pets"

"let me guess, you found it under teh couch and buried it because other wise you mom would flip?" asked kay, sitting on teh only chair which didn't have crap all over it.

Morten shook his head "Next doors cat hot it, I found half of it under a bush"

Kay wrinkled her nose. "ugh. Perfered my story." she took teh rat and let it out in teh hall before shutting teh door.

Morten shrugged "Probably gave that rat nightmares. Anyway! what time is it? I put my phone down somewhere and I no have no idea where it is"

Kay grinned and picked up Mortens phone. "You mean this one?" she asked. She chucked it at him,.

Morten caught it easily with one hand "6 o'clock, That gives me an hour to do the flat, then an hour to cook dinner and do the washing up then an hour free before dad gets home"

Kay raised an eyebrow. "You can cook?" she asked.

"Uh huh" said Morten "i'm pretty much self sufficient"

Kay grinned. "I cant cook yet." she said. "Will you teach me a bit?"

"Sure" grinned Morten "What do you want to learn? I've got the right ingredients for a Bolognese, My mom likes italian food so thats what I'm best at"
